SCHRÖDER HOUSE

This house designed by Gerrit Rietveld, located in Utrecht, Holand, for Mrs. Truus Schröder-Schräder and her kids. This is a famous work of Gerrit Rietveld. The house surrounded by old houses which make the house contrast with its environment. 

The basic of the house is a cube. This cube was destructed and at the same reassembled by using planes and lines as building elements. The structure frees the components of the building, which separate its function. Each of his building consist of planes, lines, and he's using primary color, including this building. The exterior and the interior painted in white, black, red, and yellow. 

I like this house. this house was build at 1925, but the design and the concept is modern.
